Colonial America Period

This week students are studying the Colonial Period of Early America. Artworks include everything from papyrotamia to Colonial portraits.

Masterpieces of the Month for December 2018

We had two wonderful Masterpieces for the month of December. First up, Caiden J., a 2nd grader, did a wonderful snowy snowman scene. Then, 5th grader Cheyenne G, created a Native American symbol using beans. Great job, you two!!

This week students are learning about Native American music and playing Native instruments.

African Art

This week students are creating African artworks, including Egyptian symbol art and African women carrying baskets on their heads.

Masterpieces of the Month for October 2018

This month we have 3 wonderful pieces of art for Masterpieces of the Month. 6th graders Christian H and Jaycee T created Asian Noh masks, and 6th grader Edith C made an in-depth drawing of mountains using several of the lines we have been studying.
