School-wide Shapes

This week students in every grade spent their time learning about geometric shapes (2D - height and width only) versus forms (3D - height, width, and DEPTH). Just take a look at these pics to see how much the students enjoyed making shape collages, designing geckos, and creating a "Snowy Day" collage.

 

Fine Arts Family Fun Night 2016

As you can see from all the pics below, everybody had a really fun time at Fine Arts Family Fun Night this year. Students in Ronn Moyers' arts class made everything from a castle to a race car to an owl out of toilet paper tubes. Madison Morgan, former Central student, taught families about the violin. And Rhonda Keeling, drama instructor, led the kids in playing several types of drama games.
