Ice House District-Wide Elementary Art Exhibit 2017
Everybody had a wonderful time (AND WHAT A GREAT TURN-OUT) at the District-Wide Elementary Art Show held this past Friday night at the Ice House. In fact, it was our first ever sold-out show!!!!!

Appalachian Art 2017
This week we have been continuing our unit on the Appalachian unit by creating special Appalachian-style artworks. Students in 2nd grade designed a 2D drawing of a chair they created, and then designed that chair in 3D using various materials.
Students in 3rd grade made handmade fabric scrap greeting cards.
5th grade students wove plastic baskets using various materials.
1st graders designed quilt blocks using fabric scraps.
Kindergartners created paper dolls.
4th graders designed rush weavings using popsicle sticks and yarn.
