Appalachian-style Arts 2018
This week students are learning about various handicrafts made in the Appalachian Mountain areas. Here, you can see students designing chairs, making a paper fabric scrap quilt, creating a type of paper doll, making fabric scrap greeting cards, and practicing their weaving techniques.

Appalachian Music
This week, students are learning about Appalachian music and getting to play the instruments involved in that style of music. They are also responding to the music by identifying their favorite instrument and sharing with classmates.
