This week, kindergarten students played handbells for the first time. It was so fun!! And they did a fantastic job!

This week students are learning about balance / symmetry through creating balanced artworks.

Masterpieces of the month for Feb. 2019

The Masterpieces of the Month for Feb. are Emily G., 6th grader, and Kelsey W., 5th grader.
Emily used silver fabric paint to create a printmaking pattern and Kelsey drew a sea turtle using line and shape patterns. Congratulations, Girls!

  

Mimicry

This week in drama, students are learning about mimicry (to copy someone else) through the use of a drama game called "mirror."

Masterpieces of the Month for Jan. 2019

Our first Masterpiece for Jan. is a Floral Still Life Ink Outline with Texture painted by 6th grader Jaydin D. Our 2nd piece was drawn in crayon by 5th grader Karsyn J. It is of a line texture drawing.  Congrats, Girls!!
