September 2017 Masterpieces of the Month
Our first Masterpiece of the Month is Karley J, a first grader who created a very cute panda bear using lines to show texture.
Our next Masterpiece of the Month is 6th grader Gabriel B, who designed a fabulous watercolor and black glue textured floral still life.

This week, students are learning all about PATTERNS!! We are creating some really cool projects incorporating patterns:

Color Schemes for the Week!
This week, students are learning about 5 color schemes: primary (red, blue, yellow); secondary (purple, green, orange); warm (yellow, red, orange); cool (blue, green, purple); and neutral (black, white, brown, gray). Here they are creating artworks using a chosen color scheme:
